I'm ready to feel you moving around. Just a little bit is all I ask for!
Even though I've seen pictures of the baby and just last week I heard the heartbeat, it still doesn't feel real. From what I've read, I'm at the stage in my pregnancy (14w2d) where I will begin to start feeling the baby move. If I poke my stomach, I should be able to make the baby move, too. I've been doing alot of poking ;) Maybe I should eat something spicy and see what happens!
I have an appointment this Friday and I think it will entail bloodwork to make sure that I'm still within normal limits with my different levels. I think I'll be ok, so that's good. I think I will have a baby test to see if there are any problems with it. Maybe we'll schedule an appointment with the radiologist to find out the sex! We'll see!

Do you ever feel what feels like little gas bubbles or a little "fluttering" or "bubble" sensation in your tummy? Because that might be the baby! At this stage it's quite possible to feel the baby move, but with your first pregnancy, it's also pretty easy to miss (or question) since you don't know exactly what to expect. You'll be able to feel it before long -- and then Cody will be able to feel it too -- and then the REAL fun begins! :)
Kari, that makes me smile!
Obviously everyone is different but for me...I felt her for the first time at 18w4d and it was like popping or bubbles really low. It would have been easy to miss and it was very faint. Her kicks got harder around 20-22 weeks and have started to become almost daily. Clint felt her for the first time last night at 23w3d.Now I can lay down and watch her move around. It is very cool.
The waiting part is very hard, but like Kari said it is so hard to tell at this point. You will feel him/her soon :) I'm so excited for you guys!!
I went to a shower this weekend for my friend who is almost 35 weeks and he doesn't move much (some babies are just wigglers for hours on end!) and usually if she pokes him to make him move, she has to poke a lot. We've decided he's just stubborn like his dad.
In other news, I've been conducting a poll and pretty much everyone agrees that if its a boy, y'all should name him Maximus (like Gladiator) because no one else could pull that off. And then Lauer suggested "Hatch". He was also chasing a leprechaun at the time.
Thanks guys, I can't wait! Joanna, I've been reading your blog religiously. I'm loving your updates on the pregancy!
